Pre-Order/Pre-Sale Plan

Pre-Orders

We are proud to offer pre-sales on items from upcoming seasons. These will vary based on the manufacturer and the policies they have in place for retailers.  Items available for pre-order have been ordered from the manufacturer but are scheduled for in stock delivery at a future date.  Participation in pre-orders not only ensures that you will receive your size, but they are also eligible for our flex pay/layaway plan. This is a great way to pay for your pre-ordered items well in advance of when you may need them.  If we receive your item in our stock before you have finished making your payments, we will offer you the option to pay your remaining balance early so we can ship your item to you.  All items must be paid in full before they can be shipped. 

If at any time your address changes while waiting on a pre-order item to ship, it is your responsiblilty  to notify us.  We will not be responsible for items mailed to an incorrect address on file.  If this happens and your purchase is returned to us, you will be responsible for paying the additonal shipping charges to ship to your new address.

Pre-ordered items are taken out of our available inventory just for you and are not available to other customers.  Because of this, pre-orders cannot be cancelled.  All pre-order payments are non-refundable.  This is only fair.  There will be no exceptions made to this rule.  Please do not ask.

Pre-ordered items are shipped within 48 hours of receipt from the manufacturer.  While most companies give us approximate shipping dates, items can become discontinued or back ordered.  Factory delays can also happen.  If you have pre-ordered an item that has been affected by any of these, we will do our best to contact you immediately.  We will keep you updated on the availability and shipping status of your item.  

The Smock Exchange cannot be held responsible for any shipping delays of pre-ordered items due to items being back ordered or factory delays.
