Do you have boutique clothing that your children have outgrown?

Are you tired of paying so much for them new, only to be offered a few dollars when you take them to a consignment store?

Well, those days are gone!!! 

Here at The Smock Exchange, we are here to help.  Although we sell LOTS of new boutique items, we also resell your boutique items.  We are a one of a kind children’s boutique website!

HOW IT WORKS

Listing your resell items with us is really easy.  Once you have gathered your boutique items, you will send us up to 3 pictures of each item along with a brief description that includes the brand, condition of the item and asking price with shipping cost included.  You will also need to include your contact e-mail address and your paypal e-mail address with each listing.  We will then send you an invoice (via paypal) for the listing fee.  Once paid, we will add your item to our website for boutique clothing lovers all over the world to see!  We will also post the link to our ReSale items to our Facebook page as well.  So, you items will get LOTS of exposure!

At the bottom of your listing on the website, there will be a “Contact Seller” tab.  Once you item has a potential buyer, they will click on this tab.  This will take them directly to an e-mail link.  They will fill it out with their name, contact e-mail address, and any questions they may have.  This e-mail will be sent directly to your contact e-mail address that you provided to us.  We will receive a copy of it as well.

Once your item has an interested buyer, they will send you an e-mail via the “Contact Seller” link located at the bottom of your listing.*  After you receive this e-mail, you will contact them to complete the sale.  When you have received payment for the item, it is your responsibility to notify us so we can remove the item from the website.  All unsold items remain on the website for 30 days. 

*Your personal information, including your e-mail address, will never be posted on our website.  Your contact e-mail address is programmed into your listing and ALL e-mails generated from your listing will be automatically forwarded to you.

Because we are a boutique website, there are some brands that we do not accept.  Try to keep this in mind when sending your items.  A simple rule of thumb:  If you bought it in a boutique, then you can resell it here.  We reserve the right to turn down listings that do not meet these standards.  We do not accept brands such as Gap or Gymboree. If you have any questions about your item, please send us an e-mail.  We will be happy to let you know if it is acceptable!

LISTING FEES

We are a “pay to list” website and do not take any of the profit from the sale of your item. 

Our listing fees are as follows:

$3 - Items priced $29 and under

$4 – Items priced $30 - $39

$5 – Items priced $40 - $49

$6 – Items priced $50 - $59

$7 – items priced over $60
